Why we chose it

Vincent Lindon, a Cannes winner, is the only professional actor in the cast, while the bank clerk, the careers adviser and the people working in the shop all play themselves. Thierry has been out of work for a long time, and now that he’s a security guard, he’s the kind of everyday hero we need.

Synopsis

Months into his search for work, Thierry is stuck on a retraining course that leads nowhere, and strangers keep picking apart the mistakes he makes in job interviews. He does everything he’s told and nothing changes, until a supermarket hires him as a security guard to keep an eye on the customers. And on the staff.
