Monika Majorek’s debut brings a group of siblings back to the family home, where their father now lives on only in old videotapes, and it’s as moving as it is hopeful. The cast includes Agata Kulesza and Maja Pankiewicz, who deserves every award going for one scene alone.
After their father dies, the family home has to be emptied, and the grown-up siblings gather to pack it up. Sorting through everything, Ola finds a pile of old videotapes and sits down in front of the TV with her brother Pipek and the youngest, Ajka. Together they decide to recreate their childhood photos in the same rooms and in the same poses.
