This film is like that one lost friend with a rare charm. Áron is thirty and stuck in a rut, but he’s finally decided to grow up, and Gábor Reisz, director of “Explanation for Everything”, tells his story in his first feature with warmth and humour. Life makes sense, or it doesn’t.
Áron graduated in film studies and hasn’t had a job or a plan since, and now his girlfriend has moved out. His mother offers to write his CV. He falls for a ticket inspector and rides the trams after her, but that goes nowhere too. Then one evening he sees his ex on Facebook with a new man, and by the next morning he has a ticket to Lisbon.
