Told entirely through video calls, this online romantic comedy was shot in lockdown by Natalie Morales and Mark Duplass, each at home in a different country. Between a Spanish teacher and her grieving student, something warm and complicated begins to grow.
Synopsis
Will gave his husband, Adam, a hundred online Spanish lessons, a present Adam never asked for. At the second session Adam has to tell his teacher that Will has died. Week after week the lessons go on, even though Adam can barely string a sentence together, and Cariño has things of her own she keeps quiet about.
