Why we chose it

Karine Teles and Gustavo Pizzi finished writing this script after their own divorce, and he directed it while she plays the lead. Her character is raising four children, and with the eldest son about to fly the nest she has to work out whether she can live for herself and not only for everyone else.

Synopsis

Irene is raising four boys and has only just finished high school when her sister and her small child move into the already crowded house. Then Irene’s eldest son, who plays handball, is offered a professional contract in Germany. On paper it all makes sense, because the family needs the money and he wants to go. But Irene still hasn’t said yes.
