Synopsis

James Figueras is a brilliant art critic who has never lived up to his promise. He takes the American woman he has just started an affair with to a collector’s villa on Lake Como, and over lunch the host makes him an offer. He will get Figueras the interview he has always wanted with the famous painter Jerome Debney, and in return Figueras will smuggle one new canvas out of the painter’s studio.
