Isabel Coixet directs, Almodóvar’s company produces and Mark Ruffalo co-stars in a warm film about dying. Ann is 23, with two daughters, a husband and a trailer in her mother’s garden, when a doctor gives her two months to live. One of the ten things on her list is finding her husband a new wife.
Twenty-three-year-old Ann lives in a trailer in her mother’s back garden with her two little daughters and the husband she’s known since school. When she suddenly collapses, the hospital tells her she doesn’t have long to live. She tells no one, and on her way home she starts writing a list of the things she wants to do before she dies.
