Why we chose it

Quentin Tarantino’s theatrical western crime story locks eight strangers in a snowbound cabin, where they lie until somebody reaches for a gun. Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell and the rest of the star cast keep you on edge, and Ennio Morricone, at 87, won the only Oscar for a score of his career.

Synopsis

A few years after the Civil War, a huge blizzard in Wyoming brings a stagecoach to a halt outside a roadside cabin. Out climb a bounty hunter with three frozen corpses, another bounty hunter with a woman prisoner, very much alive, chained to his own wrist, and a man who claims to be the new sheriff of Red Rock. Four strangers are already inside, and the snow won’t stop for days.
