The fracture in a couple's life of togetherness comes suddenly, almost out of nowhere: cruel, icy and indefinable. A genuine, quietly magnificent film about marriage, the passage of time and the transformations of long-lasting love.

Synopsis

A few days before celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary, a couple is faced with sad news. After many decades hidden in ice, the dead body of the husband's beloved ex-girlfriend is discovered intact somewhere in the Alps; she was lost when they went climbing together, almost half a century before. This event will deeply affect the couple's relationship and challenge the very foundations of their coexistence.
