Welcome to Cinobo! Cinobo provides a subscription streaming service through which subscribers can access films, series, documentaries, editorial material and other audiovisual content (the 'Content') over the internet using devices supported by Cinobo (each a 'Cinobo Supported Device').
These Terms and Conditions (the 'Terms') govern your access to and use of the Cinobo website, applications, streaming service and related functionality (together, the 'Service'). As part of the Service, Cinobo may offer optional features that allow you to create public profiles and publish ratings, reviews, comments, lists and other material (the 'Community Features'). These Terms form an agreement between you and the Cinobo company identified for your subscription country in clause 12.4.
By creating an account, starting a free trial, buying a subscription or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully, as they contain important information about your rights and obligations.
1. About these Terms and other applicable terms
These Terms set out the rules governing subscriptions, payments, accounts and use of the Service. Clause 12.4 identifies the Cinobo company with which you contract.
Your agreement with Cinobo consists of these Terms and the plan, price and offer details presented when you subscribe. The information presented at checkout prevails in relation to your price, billing period, plan features and any specific promotional conditions presented there.
Certain features, benefits and offers are governed by additional terms. These may include the Community Guidelines, the General Promotional Terms, the Cinobo Pass Terms, the Gift Card Terms and terms applicable to a particular promotion, offer or code. Those additional terms apply only when you use, purchase, redeem or participate in the relevant features, benefits or offers. Where applicable, they form part of your agreement with Cinobo and prevail over these Terms to the extent of any conflict relating to the relevant features, benefits or offers.
The Help Center provides operational information about the Service. The Cinobo Privacy Notice, Cookie Notice, Accessibility Statement and Notice and Action Procedure provide separate legal and procedural information. They do not form part of your agreement.
2. The Cinobo Service
2.1 The Service
Subject to your plan, Cinobo makes Content available through the Service. We grant you a limited right to access and view the Content while your subscription is active and in accordance with these Terms.
For the purposes of these Terms, an 'Active Subscriber' is a user whose Cinobo subscription is currently in effect and who is entitled to access, stream and watch Content under their subscription plan. When your subscription ends, you are no longer an Active Subscriber. For the purposes of these Terms, your subscription ends at the end of the final billing period for which payment was made.
Your access to Content and eligibility to obtain new subscriber benefits end, but any benefit already issued or activated remains subject to its applicable terms. You may continue to maintain your Cinobo account and use available Community Features, including your public profile, subject to these Terms and the Community Guidelines.
Content and features of the Service, including Community Features, may vary by plan, country and device and may change over time. Cinobo selects and updates the catalogue and does not guarantee that any particular Content will remain available. Changes to the Service are governed by clause 10.
2.2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 to create an account, subscribe or use Community Features. Persons under 18 may watch Content using the available parental controls and under the account holder's supervision and responsibility.
2.3 Devices, quality and downloads
To stream Content, you need an internet connection and a Cinobo Supported Device. The current Cinobo Supported Devices and technical requirements are listed in the Help Center and may change over time. Cinobo may change the devices, operating systems and third-party platforms it supports, subject to clause 10 and applicable law. We do not guarantee permanent support for any particular device, operating system or third-party platform. The number of devices on which Content may be streamed simultaneously is set out in the Help Center.
Streaming quality and access to the Service depend on factors including your internet connection, location, device and network conditions. You are responsible for using a compatible device, maintaining adequate internet access and paying any related data or connection charges. Cinobo is not responsible for access or performance issues caused by incompatible devices, inadequate internet connectivity or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Not all Content is available in every resolution, with every subtitle option or for download. Where downloads are available, they may be subject to viewing periods, expiry dates, device or download limits and territorial restrictions.
The Service and related software may be updated automatically where needed to maintain conformity, security or functionality.
2.4 Streaming territory and travel within the EU
You may create and maintain a Cinobo account, including a public profile, from outside the countries in which Cinobo offers subscriptions. Creating an account does not mean that you can purchase a subscription or stream Content from your location.
When you subscribe, you receive access to the Content available in your subscription country. Your subscription country is the country in which you reside and in which Cinobo offers the relevant subscription, as verified by Cinobo where permitted by law.
If you are temporarily present in another EU Member State, you may continue to access the same Content available to you in your subscription country, in accordance with applicable portability rights.
3. Subscriptions and payment
3.1 Plans and automatic renewal
Your plan, including its billing cycle and price, is shown before purchase and confirmed by email. Where applicable, the confirmation email also includes any relevant benefits offered when you subscribe. All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise Cinobo or its payment provider to charge the applicable subscription fee and taxes to your selected payment method at the beginning of each billing period.
If payment fails, we may retry the charge, request another payment method, change the billing date for that payment only, or suspend access until payment is received. Any outstanding amounts remain due and payable.
3.2 Free trials and offers
Cinobo may offer subscribers free trials, promotional prices or other benefits. Eligibility and conditions are determined by Cinobo and disclosed before acceptance. Your subscription begins when the free trial starts. Unless stated otherwise, a free trial automatically becomes a paid, renewing subscription when it ends, without any prior notice. You must cancel before the trial ends if you do not want to be charged. Cinobo may withdraw an offer obtained or used contrary to its conditions, including through repeated or multiple accounts.
3.3 Prices
Cinobo may change subscription prices at any time. Any price change affecting your plan takes effect no earlier than the start of your next billing period. We notify you at the email address registered to your account at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. If you do not agree to the new price, you must cancel your subscription before it renews and no later than 24 hours before the start of your next billing period.
3.4 Cancellation
You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current subscription period, and access continues until then. Deleting the application or not using the Service does not cancel your subscription.
If you subscribe to the Service through an app store or another third-party provider, your subscription may also be subject to that provider's applicable terms, including its payment, billing and cancellation terms. Where the third party manages your subscription and billing, you must cancel through that provider in accordance with its cancellation process.
3.5 Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days after the contract is concluded. Cinobo may charge a proportionate amount for the Service supplied before withdrawal. Nothing is payable for the free-trial period.
To withdraw, send a clear statement to support@cinobo.com before the period expires. We make any refund required by law. A model form is available in Annex 1 but is not mandatory.
3.6 Refunds
Subscription fees cover access to Cinobo during the applicable billing period, irrespective of whether or to what extent the service is used. Except where required by applicable law or expressly granted by Cinobo, payments are non-refundable and no refunds or credits shall be due in any other circumstances, including, without limitation, in respect of unused or partially used billing periods, Content not viewed, or failure to cancel the subscription by the applicable cancellation deadline.
Cinobo may investigate refund requests or the use of promotional offers where it has reasonable grounds to suspect fraud or abuse, including repeated refund claims based on knowingly false information or attempts to circumvent promotional eligibility conditions. Cinobo reserves its rights and remedies under applicable law in respect of such conduct
4. Optional benefits and promotions
Cinobo may offer optional benefits and offers, including Cinobo Pass, Cinobo Gift Cards, promotions, promotional codes and limited-duration or partner offers.
Activating or redeeming a subscription promotion starts a Cinobo subscription. The promotional price or period applies for the duration stated in the applicable offer. Unless you cancel before the promotional period ends, your subscription continues automatically at the regular price and billing period disclosed before activation. Festival Passes and other standalone, fixed-term content passes do not start or renew a subscription.
Benefits and offers are subject to availability. Their eligibility requirements, availability, participating partners, redemption periods, usage limits and other conditions are stated in the applicable additional terms. Cinobo may introduce, change, suspend or withdraw benefits and offers, but this does not affect a benefit already validly activated except as permitted by its applicable terms or mandatory law.
The General Promotional Terms and any terms presented for a particular promotion, benefit or promotional code apply when you participate in the promotion, use the benefit or redeem the code. The Cinobo Pass Terms apply when you access or use Cinobo Pass. The Gift Card Terms apply when you purchase, redeem or use a Cinobo Gift Card. Where applicable, those additional terms prevail over these Terms to the extent of any conflict relating to the relevant benefit, promotion, Gift Card or code.
5. Your account
You must provide accurate account information, keep it up to date, protect your login details and notify Cinobo promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your account and subscription are personal and may not be sold, transferred or used commercially. Any benefit or promotional entitlement linked to them is also personal unless the applicable additional terms state otherwise. You must not share your login details publicly. You are responsible for all activity through your account.
Every Cinobo account includes a public profile. Your public profile is visible to all visitors, including people who do not have a Cinobo account or subscription, and may be accessed directly, through material you publish on Cinobo or through search engines.
Ratings, reviews, comments, lists and other material you publish may appear publicly on your profile and elsewhere on Cinobo's website, including on film pages, article pages and other public pages. They are displayed together with your public profile name and may link back to your profile.
When your account is created, your public profile is assigned a randomly generated profile name and default profile and background pictures. You may leave it unchanged or customise it. Your public profile may display your profile name, profile and background pictures, ratings, reviews, comments, favourites and other lists that you create. Your personal watchlist remains private.
You may request deletion of your account. If you have an active subscription, you must first cancel the subscription and then request Cinobo to delete the account. Cancellation takes effect as described in clause 3.4. Cinobo may retain limited information after deletion where necessary to comply with law, prevent fraud or establish, exercise or defend legal claims, as explained in the Cinobo Privacy Notice.
6. Using the Service
6.1 Licence and ownership
Cinobo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms. While your subscription is active, this includes the right to view Content for private, non-commercial use.
The Service, Content, software, designs, trade marks and other materials made available by Cinobo are owned by or licensed to Cinobo. Except for the limited licence granted above, no rights are transferred to you.
6.2 Restrictions
You may not copy, record, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, broadcast, sell or otherwise make Content available; use the Service publicly or commercially; circumvent geographic restrictions, security measures or digital rights management; use bots, scrapers or automated extraction methods; use the Service or Content to develop, train, test, fine-tune, benchmark or validate an AI or machine-learning system; reverse engineer or decompile the Service; introduce malicious code, disrupt the Service or gain unauthorised access; or use the Service unlawfully. These restrictions apply except where applicable law does not allow them to be restricted.
Cinobo may investigate suspected violations and take technical or legal measures to protect the Service, Content and rights of its licensors.
6.3 Third-party services
The Service may interact with app stores, payment providers, device platforms and other third-party services. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to what they provide directly. Cinobo is not responsible for third-party products or services but remains responsible for the Service to the extent required by law.
If you download an application through an app store, your agreement remains with Cinobo and not the app-store operator. The operator is not responsible for maintaining or supporting the Service, except to the extent its own terms provide otherwise. You must also comply with the applicable app-store terms.
6.4 Information and feedback
Any information, content, reviews, ratings, comments, ideas, suggestions or other material that you submit, post or otherwise make available through the Service, or send to Cinobo as feedback, may be used by Cinobo to operate, analyse, develop, test, improve and promote the Service and Cinobo's products. Cinobo owes you no payment, compensation or attribution for that use. Material posted through the Community Features is also governed by clause 7.
7. Community Features
Participation in Community Features is optional. You retain ownership of material you post and remain responsible for it. You confirm that you have all rights required to post it.
By posting material through Community Features, you grant Cinobo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical purposes, display, distribute and otherwise use that material to operate, improve and promote the Service. The licence continues for as long as the content remains available and afterwards where retention is required by law, necessary for a claim or inherent in copies already shared.
Cinobo may review, restrict, demote, edit for technical or formatting purposes, or remove content, and may restrict access to Community Features, where we reasonably believe this is necessary to enforce these Terms or the Community Guidelines, comply with law or protect Cinobo or others. Where required by law, we explain a moderation decision and the available means of challenge.
Reports, complaints and challenges to moderation decisions are handled under the Notice and Action Procedure.
8. Service availability, warranties and liability
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. While we provide a reliable service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, any particular streaming quality, compatibility with every device, or the continued availability of any particular Content or Service feature. Access may occasionally be interrupted or affected by maintenance, updates, technical requirements or circumstances outside Cinobo's reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cinobo is not responsible for interruptions, failures or losses resulting from your device or equipment, internet connection, third-party services, force majeure or other circumstances outside Cinobo's reasonable control. Cinobo is also not responsible for business or commercial losses arising from your personal use of the Service.
If the Service is unavailable due to circumstances within Cinobo's reasonable control for more than 48 hours, whether continuously or cumulatively within the same calendar month, you are entitled to a proportionate refund or account adjustment corresponding to the period of unavailability exceeding 48 hours. For this purpose, the Service is not considered unavailable where access is interrupted or affected by scheduled or necessary maintenance, updates or improvements, circumstances attributable to you or your equipment or internet connection, force majeure, or other circumstances outside Cinobo's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies available to you, or any liability of Cinobo that cannot be excluded or limited, under applicable law.
9. Suspension and termination
You must be authorised to use any payment method provided for a subscription. If Cinobo reasonably believes that a payment method has been used without authorisation, is subject to a genuine dispute or has been used fraudulently, Cinobo may prevent further charges, suspend or cancel the associated subscription and take reasonable steps to investigate the matter.
Cinobo may suspend, restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe that the account has been compromised or these Terms or the Community Guidelines have been breached or the Service is being used fraudulently, illegally or improperly or action is necessary to protect Cinobo, its licensors, users or third parties or we are required to act by law or a competent authority.
We may act immediately where delay could expose Cinobo or others to harm. Otherwise, where appropriate and legally permitted, we give reasonable notice or an opportunity to remedy the issue.
When your subscription ends, your streaming access terminates, your downloads stop working and you no longer have access to subscription benefits. Your Cinobo account remains active, including your profile and any content associated with it.
You can continue to access and edit your profile, and if you subscribe again in the future, you should use the same account.
If you want Cinobo to remove your profile or personal data, you can submit a deletion request. Cinobo handles any such request in accordance with our Cinobo Privacy Notice, Community Guidelines and applicable law.
10. Changes
Cinobo develops the Service continuously. We may add, modify, replace, suspend, limit or remove Content, plans, benefits, features, interfaces, technical requirements and functionality, temporarily or permanently. We may also test different versions of the Service or make different features available to different users. We make changes for valid reasons, including improving or adapting the Service, responding to changes in technology, security, licensing arrangements, user demand, commercial requirements or applicable law.
Price changes are governed by clause 3.3. Where another change negatively affects your access to or use of the Service beyond a minor degree, Cinobo provides the notice, information and termination rights required by applicable law.
Cinobo may update these Terms by publishing a revised version. The revised Terms apply from publication or any later date stated in them. Your continued access to or use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires another form of acceptance.
11. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, please contact Cinobo through the Help Center, live chat, contact form or at support@cinobo.com. We review your complaint and try to resolve it directly. If we cannot resolve it, we provide information about the competent authority or alternative dispute-resolution body that may be able to consider it.
12. General
12.1 Severability and no waiver
If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. If Cinobo delays or does not enforce a provision, this does not prevent us from enforcing it later.
12.2 Transfer
Cinobo may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or transfer of the Service, provided any mandatory rights you have are preserved. You may not transfer your account or contractual rights without our written consent.
12.3 Notices and previous versions
We may send communications about your account, subscription, payments, security, the Service or these Terms to the email address registered to your account. Unless otherwise stated by Cinobo, these Terms apply and replace all previous versions from the 'Last updated' date shown above.
12.4 Cinobo companies and contact details

These Terms may be available in several languages. The version in the language in which you subscribed applies to you. The same rule applies to any other applicable Cinobo document, including the Community Guidelines, Notice and Action Procedure, General Promotional Terms, Cinobo Pass Terms and Gift Card Terms.

1. About these Terms
These General Promotional Terms apply to any Cinobo promotion, offer or promotional benefit that refers or links to them, including subscription offers, festival passes and other fixed-term content passes, promotional codes, referral promotions, prize draws, giveaways and free-content access (each a 'Promotion').
The details specific to each Promotion are provided before you participate in, purchase, activate or redeem it (the 'Promotional Terms').
These General Promotional Terms and the Promotional Terms supplement the Cinobo Terms and Conditions. The Cinobo Terms and Conditions govern your account, subscription, payment, cancellation, withdrawal rights and use of the Service. In case of conflict between the Promotional Terms and these General Promotional Terms on a matter specific to the Promotion, the Promotional Terms prevail. Capitalised terms not defined in these General Promotional Terms have the meanings given to them in the Cinobo Terms and Conditions.
In these General Promotional Terms, 'Cinobo' means the Cinobo company identified for your country in the Cinobo Terms and Conditions, unless the Promotional Terms identify another Cinobo company as the operator of the Promotion.
Cinobo Pass and Cinobo Gift Cards are governed separately by the Cinobo Pass Terms and the Gift Card Terms and do not qualify as a Promotion under these General Promotional Terms.
2. The Promotional Terms
The Promotional Terms identify, as applicable, who may participate, the promotional benefit, the relevant dates, how to participate or activate, the applicable plan and price, and any material limits or additional conditions.
The Promotional Terms and these General Promotional Terms apply together. If they are inconsistent on a matter specific to the Promotion, the Promotional Terms prevail. The Cinobo Terms and Conditions continue to apply to the account, subscription and Service.
3. Availability, duration and subscription effect
Promotions are offered only in countries where Cinobo offers the relevant Service.
A Promotion may be entered, purchased, activated or redeemed, and its benefit may be used only during the periods stated in the Promotional Terms. Any unused benefit expires when the applicable period ends and cannot be paused, extended, transferred or carried forward unless the Promotional Terms state otherwise.
If you are eligible for a free trial under the Cinobo Terms and Conditions, the promotional period begins when the free trial ends, unless the Promotional Terms state otherwise.
Activating or redeeming a Promotion immediately starts a Cinobo subscription, unless the Promotion is a Festival Pass, a Free Content Access Promotion or the Promotional Terms expressly state otherwise.
Depending on the Promotion, you may be required to provide a valid payment method before activation or redemption. If a payment method is required, Cinobo asks you to provide it during the activation or redemption process.
Where a payment method is registered, the subscription automatically continues after the promotional period at the price and billing frequency displayed before activation or redemption, until cancelled. Where no payment method is registered, the subscription ends when the promotional period ends unless you add a payment method and choose to continue.
Entering a Giveaway does not start a subscription. If the prize includes a Cinobo subscription or promotional subscription period, the subscription starts when the winner activates or redeems the prize.
A Festival Pass provides access only for its stated access period and does not start or renew a Cinobo subscription.
4. Eligibility and participation
To participate in a Promotion, you must be at least 18 years old, meet the eligibility requirements in the Promotional Terms, provide complete and accurate information and comply with these General Promotional Terms, the Promotional Terms and, where applicable, the Cinobo Terms and Conditions.
A Promotion may be available to new, former or active subscribers, people without an active subscription or another group identified in the Promotional Terms.
Unless the Promotional Terms state otherwise, each eligible participant may receive the benefit of a Promotion only once. Creating or using multiple accounts, email addresses, telephone numbers or payment methods does not create additional eligibility.
Promotions are personal and may not be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash or another benefit unless the Promotional Terms expressly permit this. Promotional codes and activation links must not be sold or used for commercial purposes.
Unless the Promotional Terms state otherwise, a Promotion cannot be combined or used consecutively with another Promotion.
Cinobo may take reasonable steps to verify eligibility and prevent duplicate participation, error, fraud or misuse. Cinobo may refuse or remove a promotional benefit where the eligibility requirements have not been met, false or misleading information has been provided, the Promotion has been used contrary to its terms, or there is reasonably supported evidence of fraud, manipulation or misuse.
Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee participation where the Promotional Terms identify limited availability, a maximum number of participants, a limited number of codes or another objective limit.
5. Subscription Promotions
A Subscription Promotion may provide a free subscription period or a subscription at a reduced price for a specified period. The benefit, eligibility requirements and activation method are stated in the Promotional Terms.
Where activation requires a promotional code or activation link, it must be used in the manner specified by Cinobo and before the applicable deadline. It cannot be applied retrospectively to an existing subscription, completed transaction or previous charge.
Each promotional code or activation link may be redeemed only once, unless the Promotional Terms state otherwise.
Cinobo may reject a code or activation link that is invalid, expired, previously used, incompatible with the selected plan or account, or used by an ineligible participant. If a code or activation link does not work, you should contact Cinobo before the redemption deadline.
Unless the Promotional Terms state otherwise, a Subscription Promotion applies only to the plan selected when it is activated. Changing plan after the Subscription Promotion has been activated or redeemed may end the promotional benefit.
You may cancel the subscription in accordance with the Cinobo Terms and Conditions. When the subscription ends, any unused promotional subscription period also ends unless the Promotional Terms state otherwise.
6. Festival Passes and other fixed-term content passes
A festival pass or other fixed-term content pass (a 'Festival Pass') provides access to a specified selection of Content for a fixed period in exchange for a one-time payment. A Festival Pass provides access only to the Content identified for that Festival Pass and not to Cinobo's full subscription catalogue.
The included Content remains subject to Cinobo's applicable content and licensing rights. If particular Content becomes unavailable because of legal or licensing requirements or circumstances outside Cinobo's reasonable control, Cinobo may remove it or, where reasonably possible, replace it with comparable Content.
A Festival Pass provides access only for its stated access period and does not start or renew a Cinobo subscription.
7. Referral Promotions
A Referral Promotion allows an eligible Cinobo user (the 'Referrer') to invite another person (the 'Referred Person') to complete the qualifying action for that Promotion. It may provide a benefit to the Referrer, the Referred Person or both.
A referral qualifies only where the Referred Person uses the required referral method and meets the applicable eligibility requirements. The Referrer is not entitled to a benefit if the qualifying action is not completed or is cancelled, refunded or reversed before the benefit is applied.
8. Giveaways
A prize draw or other giveaway offered by Cinobo, alone or in collaboration with a partner, is referred to in these Terms as a 'Giveaway'.
No payment is required to enter a Giveaway. Entries that are incomplete, late, automated, duplicated beyond the permitted number, fraudulent or otherwise contrary to the applicable terms may be rejected.
Unless the Promotional Terms specify another objective selection method, winners are selected at random from all valid entries. Cinobo contacts a winner using the details provided on entry and may select another winner if the original winner is ineligible, cannot accept the prize or does not claim it within the stated period.
Entering a Giveaway does not start a subscription. If the prize includes a Cinobo subscription or promotional subscription period, the subscription starts when the winner activates or redeems it.
A prize is personal, has no cash alternative and may not be transferred unless the Promotional Terms state otherwise. If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside Cinobo's reasonable control, Cinobo may replace it with a prize of equivalent or greater value.
Where a prize is provided by a third party, the Promotional Terms identify the relevant partner and any material third-party conditions. Cinobo remains responsible for administering the Giveaway unless the Promotional Terms identify another organiser, but is not responsible for the partner's separate products or services beyond what applicable law requires.
A Giveaway may be promoted through Cinobo's channels or a partner's channel or a third-party platform. Unless the Promotional Terms state otherwise, a social-media platform used only to promote or host the Giveaway does not sponsor, endorse, organise or administer it.
9. Free Content Access Promotions
A Free Content Access Promotion allows eligible users to access specified, limited Content through their Cinobo account without paying a subscription fee during the stated promotional period.
A Free Content Access Promotion does not start or automatically convert into a Cinobo subscription and does not provide access to the full Cinobo catalogue. If you wish to subscribe, follow the steps described in the Help Center.
The licence, content-use restrictions, device requirements, territorial rules and technical requirements in the Cinobo Terms and Conditions apply. The specified Content may be streamed only through Cinobo for personal and non-commercial use.
10. Multiple Subscription Promotions
Certain Promotions and promotional benefits cannot be combined. Applying a new Promotion while another promotional benefit is active may replace the existing benefit, and any unused promotional period may be lost. Before applying more than one Promotion or promotional benefit to your account, check the Help Center to confirm whether they can be combined and how to apply them correctly. Before applying a Gift Card, please also check the Cinobo Gift Card Terms.
11. Errors, changes and suspension
Cinobo may correct errors or suspend, change or withdraw a Promotion where reasonably necessary, including because of fraud, misuse, technical problems, legal requirements or loss of necessary rights. This does not reduce a benefit already validly activated unless necessary for one of those reasons or required by law.
12. Responsibility
Cinobo is not responsible where a participant fails to enter, purchase, activate or redeem a Promotion because they did not follow the applicable instructions, provided inaccurate information or acted after the applicable deadline, except to the extent the failure results from an act, omission or error attributable to Cinobo.
Subject to applicable law, Cinobo is not responsible for delay or failure caused by a third-party platform, communications network, email service or event outside its reasonable control. This does not limit Cinobo's responsibility for its own administration of a Promotion or for an act, omission or error attributable to Cinobo.
13. Personal data
Cinobo processes personal data to administer Promotions, verify eligibility, prevent misuse, select and contact winners and provide benefits or prizes. Further information is available in the Cinobo Privacy Notice and, where necessary, the Promotional Terms.
14. Changes and contact
Cinobo may update these General Promotional Terms for future Promotions. Unless required by law or necessary to address fraud or misuse, an update does not materially reduce a benefit already validly activated under an earlier version.
Questions about a Promotion may be sent to support@cinobo.com.
1. Purpose
This Procedure explains how you can report content made available by users through the Community Features that you believe is illegal or breaches our Community Guidelines, how we assess reports, the measures we may take and what you can do if you disagree with our decision.
2. Scope
This Procedure applies to any content submitted or made available by users through the Community Features, including reviews, comments, ratings, lists and public-profile content (‘User-Generated Content’).
This Procedure does not apply to films or other professionally produced content available in Cinobo's catalogue.
3. What you can report
You can report two different things, and we deal with them under different tests.
Reporting illegal content
Illegal content is information that does not comply with applicable EU or national law. This may include defamatory statements, unlawful threats or harassment, incitement to violence or hatred, intellectual-property infringements, unlawful disclosure of personal information, fraud or other unlawful content.
Content that breaches our Community Guidelines
Some content is lawful but nonetheless has no place on Cinobo. Our Community Guidelines explain what is prohibited, including abuse or targeted attacks, spam or irrelevant promotional content, impersonation, deliberate spoilers in places where a warning cannot protect other members, and other prohibited content or conduct. Reports of this kind are assessed against the Community Guidelines rather than against the law.
If you are not sure which category your concern falls into, report it anyway and tell us what troubles you about it. We apply whichever test is appropriate. You do not need to identify the legal provision you rely on, although it helps us if you can.
4. Who can report
Anyone can submit a report. You do not need to be a Cinobo subscriber, you do not need an account, and you do not need to be logged in. You do not need to be the person affected by the content.
5. How to report
You may report content that you believe is illegal or breaches our Community Guidelines by emailing notice@cinobo.com. Reporting is free of charge and you do not need a Cinobo account.
Your report should include:
Reports must be made in good faith. We may take appropriate action where a person knowingly submits false reports or uses the reporting process to harass another person.
6. What happens after you report
Acknowledgement
If your report includes contact details, we acknowledge receipt without undue delay.
How we assess your report
We assess reports in a timely, diligent and objective manner, taking into account the information provided, the content and its context, our Terms and Conditional, the Community Guidelines and applicable law.
7. The measures we may take
Following our assessment, we may take no action or take one or more proportionate measures, including removing or restricting access to content, reducing its visibility, issuing a warning, restricting access to Community Features, or suspending or terminating an account. Where appropriate, restrictions may apply only in relevant countries, and we may refer the matter to a competent authority.
Any measure taken is proportionate to the nature, seriousness and frequency of the conduct and the actual or potential harm involved.
8. Our decision
If you provided electronic contact details when reporting content, we inform you without undue delay of our decision and the available options for challenging it.
If we restrict your content, access to the Community Features or account because we consider content to be illegal or contrary to our Terms and Conditions or Community Guidelines, we provide you with a clear and specific statement of reasons no later than when the restriction takes effect. The statement includes, where applicable:

13. Changes to this Procedure
We may update this Procedure from time to time. The latest version is published on our website.
The short version
Talk about films. Flag your spoilers, rate only what you have watched, be authentic and disclose any payment, benefit or connection relating to a film. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, private, misleading, infringing or designed to manipulate Cinobo. If something is wrong, report it; if we get a decision wrong, you can challenge it free of charge.
This summary is a guide only. The full Community Guidelines apply whenever you use Community Features.
1. A community built around film
Cinobo’s reviews, ratings, comments, lists, public profiles and other community features that Cinobo may make available from time to time (the 'Community Features') are spaces for members to discover, discuss and remember films. These Community Guidelines ('Guidelines') apply to everyone using the Community Features and to everything they submit or publish through them. They do not apply to films or editorial content published by Cinobo.
2. Contributing to Cinobo
When using Community Features:
Strong, unpopular and sharply expressed opinions about films and public conduct are welcome and are not be removed simply because others disagree.
3. What is not allowed
Do not use Community Features to publish or promote:
We apply these rules in context. Films may explore difficult or controversial subjects, and discussing those subjects honestly is not a breach. The line is crossed where a contribution targets a person or group, infringes another person’s rights, manipulates Cinobo or otherwise falls within the categories above.
4. Moderation, reporting and challenges
Cinobo does not endorse or verify material posted by users and does not guarantee its accuracy.
We do not remove content solely because it is negative, unpopular, badly written or unwelcome to a filmmaker, distributor or rights holder. We do not review everything members publish, and content appearing on Cinobo does not mean that we have endorsed it.
We assess suspected breaches objectively and proportionately, considering context, seriousness, potential harm, freedom of expression and any legal obligations. Depending on the circumstances, we may restrict visibility, remove content, restrict access to Community Features, or suspend or terminate an account in accordance with the Terms and Conditions
To report suspected illegal content or a breach of these Guidelines, or to challenge a moderation decision free of charge, follow our Notice and Action Procedure. Where required, we explain our decision and the available review options. Repeatedly submitting reports or challenges that are manifestly unfounded or intended to harass others may constitute misuse of our reporting and review tools.
5. Changes and contact
We may update these Guidelines to reflect changes to Community Features, our moderation practices or applicable law, and provide notice where required. If anything is unclear, contact support@cinobo.com.
