Synopsis
Its director had never seen the play she adapted and chose not to read it, yet her debut won a prize in Venice. Eliza Scanlen (“Little Women”) plays a sick teenager who brings home a 23-year-old drug dealer, and her father, despite everything, lets it happen. What could be stronger than first love?
