Synopsis

Sensing the threat posed by Hitler, a Jewish lawyer moves with his wife and daughter to a farm in Kenya. The little girl quickly adapts but the wife is unhappy. Things get worse when the family is forced to move again, this time to Nairobi at the direction of the ruling British authorities. Frustrated, the lawyer decides to join the Allied army - and his wife finds solace in other men.
