Why we chose it

Marginalized people, experiencing freedom in relationships that seemingly suggest otherwise. Simple everyday lives despite their unconventionality. Evangelidis' lens focuses on contrasts and sincerity, exploring the limits of an individual's freedom in a relationship, in a way that surprises.

Synopsis

The story of four gay men between 60 and 70 years old, living as Masters and Slaves in modern day Chicago. A family based on the principles of free choice and consent to give up one’s personal freedom for someone else's sake.
