Excellent crime drama
Tornatore has done an excellent job here. Gazzara, although fluent apparently in Italian, is dubbed. Still he is great (as always) to watch. Nicolo di Pinto (Cinema Paradiso, The Legend of 1900) and the gorgeous Spanish actress Laura del Sol (Saura's Carmen, Frears' The Hit) are both valuable assets for the series. Plenty of memorable good scenes.
