Why we chose it

In their second film, Carl Mørck and Assad of Department Q, the Copenhagen police unit for cold cases, take on the twenty-year-old murder of twins tied to an elite boarding school. The suspects are rich and powerful now, and they have never once had to explain themselves.

Synopsis

In 1994, at a summer house outside Copenhagen, a twin brother and sister are murdered and a local boy confesses. Years later the victims’ father brings the case files to Detective Carl Mørck, and straight afterwards he takes his own life. Mørck and Assad go back over the old confession, and something doesn’t add up.
