Why we chose it

Donato Carrisi wrote the bestselling crime novel and then brought it to the screen himself. Dustin Hoffman’s doctor and Toni Servillo’s detective dig into the case of a girl who has turned up years after she vanished, and whose kidnapper made her play gruesome games and solve his riddles.

Synopsis

Samantha Andretti disappeared fifteen years ago, and now she has been found, alive and grown up but without a single memory of the years in between. In hospital she is cared for by a doctor and profiler who works with the police, and who patiently asks her question after question to help her remember. Meanwhile, a detective reopens the case files.
