Why we chose it

Omar Epps, Jennifer Connelly, Ice Cube and Tyra Banks star in John Singleton’s follow-up to “Boyz n the Hood”, which swaps the street for a university campus as another microcosm of America. Three freshmen try to find their feet there, and one of them falls into the hands of neo-Nazis.

Synopsis

It’s the first week of the year at Columbus University. Malik is there on an athletic scholarship and falls behind with his studies almost at once, Kristen has come from Orange County and doesn’t know a soul, and Remy is plainly lonely, lost and out of place wherever he goes. Then a professor tells the three of them to work out what they actually believe.
