Palestinian Mohamed Diab’s Venice Prize-winning film is a sensitive exploration of the microcosm of division and xenophobia that exists in modern Palestine, and a compelling portrait of a strong woman and an entire country in limbo.
Synopsis
Amira, a 17-year-old Palestinian, was conceived with the smuggled sperm of her imprisoned father, Nawar. But when a failed attempt to conceive another child reveals Nawar's infertility, Amira's world turns upside down.
