Synopsis
Frankie Dunn is a veteran boxing coach in Los Angeles. He keeps everyone at arm’s length except for his old-time friend and partner, Eddie. When Maggie, a young woman from a working-class Missouri background, comes to Frankie’s gym in search of his expertise, he is reluctant to become her trainer. Eventually, he gives in and the two of them form a tight bond that will irrevocably change both.
