Jean Eustache's second and last film after the legendary "The Mother and the Whore" is an autobiographical coming of age drama about the abrupt transition to maturity, which is distinguished by its stark and unemotional portrayal of teenage angst.
Synopsis
A young boy living happily with his grandmother in rural France moves to the city to live with his mother. Hanging out with older boys and discovering (and chasing) girls, he comes to many revelations about life, love and sex before returning to visit his grandmother the following year.
