My Tender Matador
- Rodrigo Sepúlveda
- 2020

Boasting an Audience Award at the Thessaloniki Film Festival and (yet another) masterful performance by Alfredo Castro, this surprisingly tender and emotional film from Chile uses the country’s dark past to talk about difference, acceptance and love.
Synopsis
The paradoxical meeting of a young revolutionary and an elderly transgender woman in Chile in 1986, amidst a climate of political turmoil, will change their lives in ways neither of them could have imagined.
