Synopsis
Penny’s life is turned upside down when she accuses her husband, Phil, of a sexual crime at a party. When no one believes her, she is driven into divorce and estrangement from her daughter, Grace. Five years later, Phil returns and Grace welcomes him back, reigniting Penny’s fight for the truth. At the same time, Penny must confront the reactions of the community, her activist instincts, and a relationship with her daughter that remains painfully strained.
