Inspired by her own childhood, Italian director Margherita Spampinato crafts a tender tale where the modern world meets the old, and its characters discover that what brings us together is stronger than what keeps us apart.

Synopsis

Niko, a boy glued to his phone, is sent to spend the summer with his aunt in Sicily, a woman who believes in superstitions, rituals and spirits. His initial reluctance soon gives way to curiosity, as he begins to discover a world unlike anything he knows.
