Why we chose it
A chilling cinematic venture that blurs the lines between fiction, documentary and essay film, becoming an essential modern historical text, fearlessly looking at past and present. Directed by Christos Passalis and Syllas Tzoumerkas.
Synopsis
Six episodes from the life and sufferings of the Jewish community of Thessaloniki are united cinematically with the city of today, creating a multifaceted cinematic narrative, in which two cities coexist in the same context: the city of Thessaloniki of the last century and the city of Thessaloniki as it is now.
