Why we chose it

When Ziggy Stardust visited us from another galaxy. The reflective film on the human condition, signed by the great Nicolas Roeg ("Don't Look Now"), totally takes off with David Bowie’s incredible persona.

Synopsis

Based on the titular novel by Walter Tevis, the film follows the rise and fall of an alien who visits Earth to save his planet from shortage of water. His rise to a powerful businessman happens at breakneck speed thanks to his intelligence and his advanced scientific knowledge. However, his sinking into the abyss of human frailties will be just as steep.
