Vincent Cassel, Bérénice Bejo, Florence Foresti and François Damiens play two couples who have been friends for years, until one of them publishes a book and the others suddenly have to be happy about it. It’s a polite comedy about envy, and you’re bound to recognise someone from your own life.
Léa works in a clothes boutique and is always the quietest one at the table. Over dinner with her partner Marc and their friends of many years, Karine and Francis, she mentions that she has written a book. A major publisher brings it out and it sells better than anyone expected, yet nobody has a bad word to say to her. At least not yet.
