Why we chose it

This Catalan box-office hit is a comedy so sharp about families that you may, unfortunately, spot your own relatives in it. Emma Vilarasau is all charm with hers, but there’s something sour creeping into all that politeness.

Synopsis

Montse summons the whole family to the summer house on the Costa Brava for one last weekend before it goes up for sale. The grown-up children arrive with their partners, and her ex-husband turns up with a younger girlfriend. Montse is prepared to go a very long way to make sure the weekend is perfect.
