What happens when a group of people is trapped in a bar they can’t leave without getting shot? In a Madrid café, Carmen Machi, Mario Casas and Blanca Suárez are at each other’s throats before anything is explained, in a black comedy of suspicion, prejudice and violence where nobody comes out well.
On a busy morning in a crowded Madrid bar, a customer pays for his coffee, steps outside and is shot dead. Someone who runs to help him meets the same end, and in moments the street is empty, with no one coming to their aid. The people left inside are polite to each other at first, but as the tension rises, their worst sides come out.
