Synopsis

A kind and charming woman tries to break free from the political chaos of 1960 Indonesia. Decades later she escapes poverty when she remarries a wealthy Sundanese man. While the memories and trauma of the war still haunt her, she begins to question the patriarchal structure of the society of her time thanks to the company of Ino, her husband's lover.
