A brilliantly stylized ode to paradox and fate; a snide attack on the absurdity of war and the political responsibilities surrounding it. Israeli Samuel Maoz's masterpiece ("Lebanon") that angered his country's leadership and was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at Venice Film Festival.
Synopsis
Michael and Daphna break down when their son's death is announced to them. While she tries to get over her grief with antidepressants and Michael plunges into rage, an unexpected twist, comparable to their son’s surreal military experiences, will occur.
