A Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival was awarded to this daring debut feature by Lorenzo Vigas, a film about loneliness and the wild and tender sides of carnal desire, in Venezuela.
Synopsis
A well-off middle-aged man brings young men to his apartment and pays to look at them, without touching. His first physical contact with a boy is violent, but that doesn't discourage the lonely man. As the boy continues to visit him to get paid, a personal, affectionate relationship unexpectedly develops. But the man's haunted past catches up with them.
