Before cooking reality shows flooded our lives, the romantic tale of 2 chefs, a German and an Italian, was one of the best blends of cinema and gastronomy in the 2000s. A significant success in its time, followed by a Hollywood remake starring Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Synopsis
Martha, one of the top chefs in Hamburg, takes guardianship of her 8-year-old niece. As a solitary soul devoted to her craft, Martha finds herself at odds with an Italian chef. Yet, this chef, with his warm Mediterranean charm, forges a remarkable connection with the young girl.
