The Changeling

One of Martin Scorsese’s favourite horror movies, Peter Medak’s gothic thriller paved the way for a series of famous similar attempts in the next few years. George C Scott’s performance as the hurt protagonist that is confronted with a haunted house, is amazing.

Synopsis

A well known composer who lost his wife and daughter in a car crash, rents an old mansion in a distant town and is preparing to start again. But the house turns out to be haunted and the dead that inhabit it are not finding peace any time soon.
