Synopsis
In the winter of 1996, two ambitious young men, unknown to each other, embark on a five-day road trip, during which each tries, sometimes nervously, sometimes defiantly, to discover himself. One is David Lipsky, a still "unripe" journalist for the Rolling Stone magazine, and the other is 34-year-old David Foster Wallace, a literary rock star, suddenly emerging as the most brilliant writer and social observer of his generation.
