Patrice Leconte hymns (and mourns) the fantasy of “another life” in the legendary film of ’90s French cinema, that always finds its way back to our open-air cinemas and remains a cult favorite in the video market. Magical realism at its finest, and images one never forgets - like the opening sequence, with the little boy dancing oriental on the waterfront.

Synopsis

Antoine steps into Mathilde’s hair salon, where the charming hairdresser awakens something deep inside him and he falls hopelessly in love, as memories of the past begin to stir.
