Mysteries around anonymous authors are not only the stuff of movies and some times the mystery is more alluring than the work itself. That’s why they become even more exciting when they’re adapted into film, especially when the story starts at a place like a library of unpublished manuscripts.
Synopsis
In a strange library in the heart of Breton, the ‘’Library of Rejected Novels’’, a young editor discovers an amazing manuscript that she decides to publish immediately. The novel becomes a best-seller. Its author, however, a pizza-maker named Henri Pick, who's been dead for two years, could not have written anything other than the shopping list, according to his widow. A literary critic, convinced this is some kind of fraud, decides to investigate the case.
