i hate how greek cinema and television have nudity and softcore sex scenes so normalized. i understand it in some moments here—it helps show how aliki, much like marilyn monroe, was idolized, consumed, and often reduced to her image—but there is definitely a point where it becomes excessive. that being said, as a feature film it felt much more ambitious than a lot of the greek media i've seen so far. the editing especially stood out to me and reminded me of a short film i watched at a festival that i absolutely loved. i also appreciated how openly and positively it spoke about the lgbt community without making it feel forced or performative

Έξω από κάθε πραγματικότητα. Αδιάφορα πράγματα ατάκτως ειρημένα. Καλή η Βίκυ Παπαδοπούλου, αξιόλογη, αλλά ακατάλληλη για ενσάρκωση της Αλίκης. Απορώ πως δέχτηκε να το κάνει. Ιεροσυλία.
