Synopsis

Seville, summer 1984. Rita and Lolo are siblings, 7 and 5 years old, growing up in the heart of a modest working-class family. Summer holidays have just begun, and the whole country is swept up in football fever after Spain’s qualification for the Euro quarter-finals. Rita dreams of going to the beach, but at home, it’s always her father’s word that rules - and for him, watching the matches is the top priority. For the first time, Rita begins to wonder why things are this way. She also starts to realize that home is becoming less and less safe, especially for her mother.
