Why we chose it

Brie Larson, Rami Malek, LaKeith Stanfield and Kaitlyn Dever were all in it before any of them were famous, and the director spent two years working in a care home for teenagers before he wrote the script. It’s about kids looking after other kids, and it wraps around you like a warm hug.

Synopsis

Grace, still in her twenties, runs the day shift at a home for teenagers with nowhere else to go, and she’s good at the job, calm with the kids while giving nothing of herself away. Then a new girl is placed there whose past comes dangerously close to Grace’s own, and the wall starts to give way.
