Why we chose it

One of the most notorious films of the ’90s, initially torn apart by critics but recently reclaimed as a cult landmark: a brazen, unapologetic satire of the American Dream through the unflinching gaze of Paul Verhoeven.

Synopsis

A mysterious young drifter calling herself Nomi Malone hitchhikes to Las Vegas, where she lands a job as a stripper and begins clawing her way to the top of the showgirl hierarchy by any means neccesary.
