Julien Colonna calls his debut an anti-gangster film, and it plays like “Aftersun” transplanted to the Corsican underworld. A teenage girl spends the summer with her father, a criminal in hiding, in a house up in the mountains.
Synopsis
In Corsica in 1995, a stranger drives fifteen-year-old Lesia, the daughter of a wanted man, to a villa in the mountains. There she finds her father in hiding, surrounded by his men, while a war tears through the Corsican underworld. Father and daughter are right in the middle of it.
