"The way to a man's heart is through his stomach", according to an old proverb; it’s a cliché, but this movie is anything but. Charming, nuanced and gentle, it addresses a loneliness that’s as deep as a wound, the love that makes it better and the food that bridges the two.
Every morning in Mumbai since the past century, 5,000 Dabavala, local food couriers, deliver hot meals from the kitchens of housewives to their husbands' offices. A Harvard University researcher studied this particular delivery system and proved that only one in a million packages might end up in the wrong hands. This film is the story of this mistake, which brings together two strangers when a woman begins to correspond with a lonely worker, exchanging daily messages through food packages.
