Indian star Dhanush plays a street magician with no papers, no money and no shortage of nerve, who sets off for Paris to find his father and falls madly in love on the way. Ken Scott keeps this optimistic, Bollywood-tinged odyssey light on its feet, and Dhanush does the rest.
Synopsis
In Mumbai, Aja performs tricks in the street and lets his neighbours believe his magic is real. When his mother dies, he flies to Paris to find the father he has never met, carrying her ashes and a single fake hundred-euro note. There he meets Marie, falls for her on the spot and arranges to see her the next day. He never makes it, because a mishap with some furniture lands him in Britain, in the hands of the authorities along with a group of migrants.
