The Russian version of space isolation, as defined for the modern era by movies such as “Gravity” and “The Martian”, is based on a true story that took place in 1985 and is depicted in a technically impressive production.

Synopsis

Salyut-7, the unmanned Soviet space station orbiting the Earth, suddenly stops transmitting. The station crashing will – not only harm the image of the country, the pride of Soviet science and the space industry – but also cause tragedy and the loss of human life. In order to avoid such a disaster, the astronauts must reach the station and determine the cause of the damage. No one, however, has ever anchored an unmanned space station before. To this day, this remains the most technically complicated mission in the history of space navigation.
