Battle of the sexes, rivalries and sex during days of summer idleness, in Rohmer’s first “Moral Tale” to be shot in color, this is also the most erotically charged film of the series. A necessary companion to our own summer adventures.
Synopsis
A young gallery owner, Adrien, decides to spend his summer vacation completely alone in a friend’s isolated villa. What he doesn’t know is that there are already two other guests at the villa, an old acquaintance of his, and a woman he’s never met before. The woman collects lovers, lives freely and shatters Adrien’s hope for peace and quiet once he realizes he is soon to become another part of her collection.
