A cat and mouse game in an exotic, remote island becomes a riveting 30s Hollywood film that holds a special place in the history of cinema: shot at night during the filming of King Kong, from the same creators, with the same cast, using the same set, as the most imaginative creative challenge ever.
Synopsis
When legendary hunter Bob Rainsford gets shipwrecked in the dangerous reefs that surround a mysterious island, he becomes the guest of the isolated and eccentric Count Zaroff. While polite at first, Zaroff ultimately forces Rainsford and two other survivors of the shipwreck, siblings Eve and Martin Trowbridge, to participate in a sadistic game of cat and mouse where they are the prey and he is the hunter.
