Synopsis

A tetraplegic man has been bedridden for 30 years. His only window to the world is the one in his room. Every day, he dreams about the beach, where he used to go as a kid, until a terrible accident immobilized him. His only wish is to end his life with dignity. A lawyer supports him in his struggle, while a peasant girl tries to convince him that life is worth living. The true story of the Spanish writer Ramon Sampedro, who legally claimed the right to euthanasia.
