If Linklater were to place his mumblecore "Before" trilogy in Tritsis Park of Athens, the result would be something like the hand-crafted and tender film by Giorgos Athanasiou that made the indie hearts of the audience skip a beat at the 2022 Thessaloniki Festival and next season's summer cinemas.
Synopsis
On his last day in Athens before moving abroad, Konstantinos meets Sofia at the park. Under the pressure of time, the two not-so-close friends agree to play a game in order to communicate what they don’t know about each other yet. They spend the next few hours talking, drinking and smoking, revealing bits and pieces of themselves. Until the evening comes and it's time to part.
