Creating quite a stir in its time in Britain, the first English film to directly name homosexuality by giving it a positive portrayal, it is a riveting neo-noir that is now considered a classic.
Synopsis
In early 1960s London, lawyer Melville Farr is on the road to success. He is winning cases in court and has a loving marriage. However, when blackmailers link Farr to a young gay man, everything he has worked to build is now threatened. All the more so because of Britain's legal framework at the time. Instead of backing down, Farr decides to fight.
