Synopsis

Hollywood’s star Hedy Lamarr was known as the world's most beautiful woman. Snow White and Catwoman were based on her iconic look. But although described simply as "just another beautiful person", Hedy's true legacy was in the technology sector. An Austro-Jewish immigrant who invented a hidden communication system to help in the fight against the Nazis. Only towards the end of her life other pioneers discovered her concept, which is now used as a basis for secure WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth systems.
